Jenolan Caves - Where To Stay
Many visitors come to Jenolan and quickly discover they will never see everything or really soak up the atmosphere if they come on a day trip. There are many options depending on budget and expectations
Caves House
Caves House manages all accommodation in the immediate area, that being Caves House, Gate House and Mountain Lodge. A variety of rooms are on offer starting with the traditional rooms with shared facilities and going up to the Grand Classic with private ensuite. Caves House was built in 1895 and is one of the great hotels of the Blue Mountains.

Gate House
For visitors on a budget, or possibly large families who want to self-cater the Gatehouse is the place to stay. Rooms are basic with shared facilities including communal kitchen and eating areas

Mountain Lodge
The Mountain Lodge was built in the 1980's to give visitors access to motor style accommodation. These are the only rooms that have their own TV (which may be important (sadly) for those with children.

Jenolan Cabins/Jenolan Cottages
Located out of the valley but still very close to the caves these cottages are totally self-contained and are great for families. Expect to have visits from the local wildlife such as kangaroos and wallabies if you stay here.

McKeowns Rest
This is a bed and breakfast run by one of the older families in the district. Only three couples are catered to at any one time and so can be assured of a very special experience. This is the sort of place that can make a visit very special. Ideal for weddings, where the bride and groom can retreat to here whilst the rest of the wedding party are down in Caves House.

Camping Ground
There is no longer a camping ground at Jenolan. Several camping grounds exist in the region though.
