The Accommodation house of Mr W Wallace has been proprietor for the past five years has been resumed by the Government. It is intended to allow Mr Jeremiah Wilson this house as a private residence. A petition asking that a daily mail during the whole year be granted from Oberon to here has been signed by all the residents and forwarded to the Postal Department. A reply has been received stating that the matter is under consideration, Another petition by interested fathers for the establishment of a public school is also under consideration. There are 12 children guaranteed for enrolment. Visitors are not over numerous owing to the bad weather.
